Wheel Cart
Installation and removal of your dock can be made easier with the use of a wheel cart. This is a great tool for moving sections to and from the storage area when installing and removing your dock. The cart is placed on the shore end of the dock frame and secured to the center tube. Once the section is installed, the cart can be taken off quickly and ready install the next section.
Tripod Winch
The tripod winch allows you to remove the sections easily without having to get in the cold water, extending the use of your dock into the fall. Place the tripod winch on the preceding section of the one being removed. Connect the winch to the winch shoe or hook with the use of the provided pin. Tie the rope from the tripod winch to the leg end of the section. Then the dock can be cranked up slowly out of the water.
Dock Leg Extensions
Leg extensions are available when the water levels have exceeded the adjustment of the dock. This can happen if the water level raises dramatically or there is a change in the dock layout. The extensions are installed by removing the footpad from the dock inner leg. Insert the extension into the inner leg and secure with the bolt you previously removed. Reinstall footpad to leg extension with the provided bolt. Available in 6” – 12” – 18” – 24” lengths.
Split Footpads
The unique Pier Pleasure split footpad is ideal for muddy and mucky lake bottoms. The design allows for the easier release of the footpad suction from the lake or river bottom. If the location the footpad is being installed in has 6” or more of muck, the split footpad is great option. Use a small piece of masking tape to hold the split footpad closed while installing. The tape will disintegrate over the summer months. Then the footpad will pop open, simplifying the removal of sections from mucky bottoms.
